How to buy, and how to get in

Everything on this page is also fine to ask on WhatsApp. But if you like to see the steps first, here they are.

  1. 1

    Make the transfer

    Transfer LKR 6,000 to:

    Bank of Ceylon, Galle Fort

    Account number

    0081406387

Account name: T.M.J. Tennakoon (this is Suranga's account)

Write your name as the reference. You can transfer at a branch, at a CDM machine, or in your banking app.

  2. 2

    Photograph the slip

Take a photo of the deposit slip or a screenshot of the transfer confirmation. Make sure the amount, the date and the reference are readable. A clear photo means faster access.

  3. 3

Send it on WhatsApp, with your email

Send the photo to +94 77 640 8668, and put your email address in the same message. Copy this text and fill in your email:

    WhatsApp message

Hello. I bought the EnglishWind Blueprint.
My email address is: (type your email here)
    My deposit slip is attached.

The email address matters: your course PIN arrives by email, not WhatsApp.

  4. 4

    Wait for confirmation

A real person checks every payment. If your slip arrives before 6 pm, you'll usually get your link the same day. After 6 pm, the next day. You'll get a WhatsApp message when you're in.

  5. 5

    Open your course link

We send you a link to learn.englishwind.lk. Open it on the phone or computer you'll watch on. You'll see a screen asking for your email address. Enter the same one you sent us.

  6. 6

Enter the PIN from your email

A PIN is sent to your email. It can land in Spam, or on Gmail, in the Promotions tab, so check there first. Type the PIN into the screen from step 5, and you're in.

If no PIN arrives after a few minutes, message us on WhatsApp. It's usually fixed quickly, and it's never your fault.

  7. 7

    Start watching

Begin with the Welcome video. On mobile data, tap the settings icon on the video and lower the quality. The lessons work fine at lower quality and use much less data.

One thing to know: the course doesn't remember where you stopped. Before you close it, note your lesson number in the notebook from lesson one. Next time, go straight there.
